Much has been said about the three talented Afolayan brothers in the Nigerian movie industry…
While the eldest brother Kunle Afolayan,
an actor, director and producer has scored high with award winning
movies like 2009 thriller The Figurine and drama-comedy Phone Swap, the youngest Gabriel is also touted as one of those who will take Nollywood to future heights.
That leaves us with Aremu – who seems to
be a mixture of his younger and elder brothers. The actor and movie
producer recently got chatting with Hitz on TV about his ‘rough
beginnings’, his reason for not pursuing a university degree, selling
pepper soup for his mum up until 2011 and why he doesn’t feature in his
brother’s (Kunle) movies.
