The 26 year old budding designer also known as Moshood Abiola Akanbi, was found dead after police forced their way into his flat in Cedar Lodge, Exeter Road, Kilburn, around 4.45pm following concerns about his welfare.

8 young men were apprehended at the 1004 Estate in Victoria Island on Friday 4th of January 2013. Wilson Uwujaren, Head of Media and Publicity for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) confirmed.
Sources tell BN that the EFCC acted on a tip-off from a resident of the estate. “A
petition by a concerned group alerted the Commission about the
activities of Olusegun and his co-travelers at the elite 1004 Housing
Estate where the fraudsters engaged in fraudulent activities of
obtaining money by false pretences and forgery.“

Governor Fashola writes FG on condition of Oshodi-Apapa Expressway
Lagos State Governor, Mr.Babatunde Raji Fashola, has complained to the Federal Government about the worsening condition of the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, a major highway that links the nation’s busiest sea ports to other parts of the country. In separate letters to President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice President Nemadi Sambo, the Governor also drew attention to the horrific traffic congestion on the expressway and the need to take urgent steps to fix the ever-busy road.
But the pleas seem to have fallen on deaf ears and the result is that
once again, the ever-busy expressway has been plunged into an eyesore
and a commuter’s nightmare. Specifically, Governor Fashola had on
September, 17, 2012 forwarded a detailed presentation of what should be
done to fix the road and ease the traffic congestion to Vice President
Namadi Sambo. In the letter entitled “Re: Report of the Deterioration
and Regeneration of Apapa, Lagos,” Fashola sought to make a presentation
on the state of the road and what the restoration would take, to the
National Economic Council.

A team of reporters from SaharaReporters/SaharaTV led by the publisher, Omoyele Sowore who visited the church camp of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry
on the Lagos Ibadan expressway to cover the “cross over” service are
accusing the Security and Task Force team of the church of molesting,
harassing and detaining them illegally.
Sowore, accompanied by Lagos-based
citizen journalist, Segun O’Law, who reports for the site from Lagos
said they went to cover the New Year’s Eve crossover night service but
were molested and detained illegally for four hours by a joint task
force of church security, armed police and the State Security Service.
