THE CORRECT WAY OF APPLYING BLUSH

The way people apply blush lately as been awful, so i thought i should teach my dear fans how to apply blush properly :
  
                               

Firstly find the exact spot on your cheeks by smiling or sucking your cheeks in. Start the application of blush at the middle of your apple and apply it on to the corner of your eye and your temple. Blush should stay above the bottom of your nose. It should not be any closer in than the iris of your eye. Your eyes will have a sparkle in them if you apply the blush higher up on your cheeks.

Once the blush is applied, you can blend it with the help of a dry make up sponge. If there is any uneven lines of blush on your face, you can get rid of it by using the edge of the sponge as an eraser.

Do not apply blush below the level of your cheek bones. In case you do this, that would make you look older by the appearance of bringing your face down.

Change the blush as the seasons change!! During cold season, rich and deeper colors would be appropriate. For sunny season, paler tones would be suitable.

Note for oily skin:

 
If you are oily skinned, then you may find your blush darkening as the day ages. This is caused because of the skin absorbing the color of the blush. You can avoid this from happening by applying pressed translucent powder regularly through the day.

 Soaps dry your skin. It’s true that they make the skin absolutely clean and bright, they remove the blackheads, but the true is that the soap harms your skin. The soap stimulates the secretion of the sebaceous glands, which means more blackheads formation after every cleansing.

You had better use a tonic, cleansing lotion or gels that are specially designed for facial cleansing.

How do you apply foundation and which type is best?

Islamiyyah: One of my favorite foundations is by the drugstore brand Milani. I love their creamy foundation, i also love Iman, Flori robert, and Mary kay foudation a lot, they are good products and can be gotten at affordable prices too . Again, I like to use a brush, but you can use your fingers. You just really need to make sure everything is really blended well. That’s the key thing with foundation – blend, then blend again.

If you’re using a foundation with a heavier coverage for blemishes or uneven tone, you’ll need to apply some of the product to your neck, blending really well, of course. If you’re wearing a low neckline, you can blend a little foundation all the way to the edge of your top. I put a make up apron around the neckline of the clothes to protect them while I’m working. You do need to be careful not to get foundation from your neck onto your collar – it’s not a good look. Tinted moisturizers are a great option for lighter coverage. Start with a small amount and blend really well. You can always add a little more. I don’t like to use a lot of powder after the base; it can look too cakey. If your T-zone is really shiny, you can use just a touch of powder there to matify.

Use a moisturizer before applying foundation and blend together for a natural look. Make sure to blend your foundation into hairline and neck area. it is that simple.

These are just basic make up  steps i use on myself and people who have a smooth skin, but for people with pimples and skin issues i go a extra mile for them plus i place them on facials before their D day so they can have the glamorous look they desire.
