Common Skincare mistake.
Almost every woman makes mistakes when taking care of her skin, before
collecting enough information and experience about the proper skin care regime.
Here are the most common mistakes that women do when taking
care of their skin.
Skin care Mistake 1 -
Washing your face with soap
Soaps dry your skin. It’s true that they make the skin absolutely clean
and bright, they remove the blackheads, but the true is that the soap harms
your skin. The soap stimulates the secretion of the sebaceous glands, which
means more blackheads formation after every cleansing.
You had better use a tonic, cleansing lotion or gels that are specially
designed for facial cleansing.
Skin care mistake 2 - Not
removing the makeup in the evening
There is no need to say how harmful this is for your skin – the
deep-rooted during the day dust, powder, mascara, makeup and the natural skin
secretions remain on the skin during the whole night and the result is a sad
consequences – clogged pores, pimples formation, acceleration of oils and most
importantly your skin cannot ” breathe ” .
The reason for not removing the makeup usually is the late going to bed.
That’s why you should keep a pack of wet cleansing wipes on your bedside table
or you can simple remove the makeup earlier. Cleanse the face with cleansing
milk, tonic or gel, apply night cream and enjoy a calm night.
It’s the same and for the boys – the facial cleansing isn’t just for the
girls.
Skin care mistake 3 – You
don’t use an eye cream
The eye area is the first to show any signs of ageing. In this area the
skin is most delicate and forms wrinkles easily. Applying an eye cream is
especially essential for those over 25. That’s why you should choose
appropriate for you eye cream and apply it both in the morning and in the
evening.
Skin care mistake 4. You think you can hydrate your skin simply with
water.
It may seem simply but actually water contains large amounts of salt
which may easily settle on the surface of your skin leading to the opposite
effect – to dry the skin. If you want to hydrate your skin you should use
thermal sprays as they have the best hydrating action. Thermal water contains
minerals and elements which are useful for your skin - it moisturizes and soothes the skin,
preventing it from feeling tight and dry. Recent clinical research show that
the mineral-rich water fortifies the skin, restores the pH balance and protects
the skin against external aggressors like pollutionn for example. Applying
thermal water in the form of a spray is easy and simple – spray it on the skin
and after a minute wipe your skin dry.
Skin care mistake 5.
You think you
can use your friend’s or mother’s skin care products.
Yes, you can use these products but only if they are appropriate for
your skin type. Using the wrong skin care products is the most common skin care
mistake. A recent research show that 64 percent of the women do not know what
exactly is their skin type as well as that 37 percent of the teenagers use the
wrong skincare and makeup products. For example if your skin feels tight and
dry in the morning and during the day it simply means that your skin is dry; if
you are prone to sudden rashes and burns it means your skin might be sensitive;
if your skin appears too oily and greasy your skin may be mixed or oily.
Skin care mistake 6.
You think you
can nourish your skin by applying Vitamin E ampoule.
It is true that vitamin E has excellent nourishing and moisturizing
properties but when it is applied in the form of oil solution it may seriously
irritate your skin and cause the appearance of rashes and small dark spots.
Vitamin E added to lotions, creams, and other skin care products, as well as
taken orally, plays a role in the anti-aging of skin. It helps skin look
younger by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduce the risk
of sun damage to cells as well as reduce the production of cancer-causing
cells but you should remember that the
concentration of the ampoule should not be more than 5 % otherwise it may cause
serious side effects.
Skin care mistake 7.
You think all of
the essential oils are harmful for oily skin.
Absolutely
wrong. Only the mineral
oils may clog the pores and cause irritation to the skin. Almost 78 percent of
the skin care products contain essential oils which have different field of
acting – one hydrate the skin; others nourish the skin making it look younger
and cleaner. For example jojoba oil, olive oil, aloe vera are recommended for
those women with combination or oily skin.
Skin care mistake 8.
You thing that
the scrub with natural particles is better than the ones with synthetic
granules.
Just the
opposite. The edges of the
synthetic particles have been processed and they won’t cause trauma to your
skin. Limit the usage of sea salt only
form your knees, heels, elbows but never exfoliate your skin or neck with sea
salt.
