Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna State has said that the incessant bombing of churches by the outlawed Boko Haram sect in the state will not force him to resign his position as the Governor.
Following the recent attacks on some  worship centres which left many
dead and several others injured and property worth millions of naira
destroyed, some angry indigenes have called  for his immediate
resignation. Yakowa in his reaction to the calls stated that he was on
top of the security threat in the state.
Yakowa told newsmen  shortly after he paid a visit to the National
Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) national
secretariat in Abuja,  that his government had been having sleepless
night because of security challenges, adding that the state would
experience peace in no distant time.
