Trybe Records boss, Lanre ‘eLDee’ Dabiri has explained the reasons he acquired a Cadillac Escalade Limousine worth N40 million for his newly signed artistes. Explaining why the record label would spend so much on the artistes, eLDee said, “The management felt the need for its artistes to be conveyed in style, and to ensure their safety as responsible drinkers by providing a chauffeur to ensure nobody ever drives under the influence of alcohol.”
Trybe Records, founded by eLDee the Don over a decade ago, has in the last nine months signed over five artistes. Aside K9 and Sojay then the likes of producer – Sarz, gifted singer and producer, Sheyman, talented rapper, Eva, songbird Aramide and lyricist, Rukus, have been signed on Trybe Records

Couple with 30kg of Indian hemp worth N3.2 million arrested by Customs

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in Seme border, on Tuesday, arrested a couple for allegedly importing 30 kg of Cannabis worth N3.2 million into the country.
Othman Salleh, the Customs Area Comptroller, said that the couple was arrested with the drug in a KIA saloon car with registration number KST 160 AG at Gbaji-Yeke checkpoint.

The female suspect was arrested with a baby on her back while the husband was partially disabled.
“Customs operatives working at Gbaji-Yeke checkpoint intercepted and arrested a couple for importing 30 kg of Cannabis Sativa into the country from Benin Republic,” he said.
According to the customs boss, the hard drug was cleverly concealed in the engine and back seat compartments of the car.
The suspects, the exhibits and the saloon car were later handed over to narcotic officials at the border.
Bashir Oladosu, an official of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), who received the items, commended the customs for the arrest and assured that further investigation would continue into the matter.

The painful pieces of a once shattered relationship seem to be patching back – Yes Chris Brown and Rihanna might just be taking that final step towards reconciliation.

It has been reported that the pop stars were seen kissing at New York City’s Griffin Nightclub on Monday night, according to multiple sources.

Celebrity culture website Celebuzz initially reported that Rihanna and Chris Brown were seen together in New York City and according to eyewitness, the two were ‘hugging and kissing, and they went to the back of the club alone together’.

Riri allegedly arrived just five minutes after Brown and sat down two tables away from him, then Chris Brown walked over to his ex-girlfriend’s took off his shirt and began ‘dancing on the table for Rihanna’, Celebuzz reported.
