United States President Barack Obama on Wednesday described the killing of US Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, and three other embassy staff in a rocket attack on their car as “outrageous.”
Obama, who was reacting to Tuesday’s murder of the officials said in a statement, “I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Chris was a courageous and exemplary representative of the United States.”
Cable News Network quotes a contractor working at the mission as saying that the other three victims were American security staff.
He said he saw all four bodies on the street Wednesday morning.
A Libyan official told Reuters that Stevens and the three others were killed as they were rushed from a consular building stormed by militants denouncing a US-made film insulting the Prophet Mohammed.

Horse child: Woman was barren for 11 years before mystery baby

Other details regarding the birth of a Horse by a woman emerged yesterday when it was disclosed that the woman had been barren for 11 years before the incident of the Horse baby. Recall that Dailypost had reported  that the woman gave birth to a horse-child while serious prayer was on at the World Liberation Ministry, Evuoriaria Community, off Benin-Sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State.
This fresh fact came up yesterday even amid people’s belief that the news was fake, and that it was quickly put together by the church in order to win more congregation. In a quick reaction to people’s doubt, different eyewitness accounts have emerged.
Mrs. Veronica Egiebor, a nurse who was on ground in the church had said that the woman sells vegetable around the area, and that she had been into the business since the past 10 years, and had used parts of the proceeds from her business to train her boyfriend in school.
However, the parents of the boy, objected to their marriage plans, and the relationship hit the rocks. Due to the development, the lady accepted another man’s hand in marriage since her earlier plan was not working. It was reported that her trouble of childlessness started since then.
Egiebor said “ the General Overseer of the ministry, Evangelist Rev. ilva Iyamu, walked up to the woman during the prayer session and asked if she was pregnant and her answer was yes,  and also said sometimes she would feel that she was pregnant and at times, it would seem as if she was not carrying any child inside her”.

“The Super Eagles needs experience, I don’t have issues with Keshi” – Taye Taiwo

Taye Taiwo, has insisted that there is no substitute for experience in football. The left back, who plies his trade in Ukraine for Dynamo Kiev, was reacting the Super Eagles’ 2-2 draw away to Liberia over the weekend.
Taiwo has not been called up for the last three matches of the national team, along with John Obi Mikel and Peter Odemwingie. Although Stephen Keshi, has said he has not ostracised any player from the team.
“It is the coach’s decision whom he wants to invite, but if you ask me I will say any team in the world will always need the services of its experienced players,” Taiwo told Brilla FM.
Taiwo, has denied that he had any problems with the national team coach, stating that he will always honour any invitation to play for his country.
“Many people have been asking if I have any problem with Keshi and the reply I always give is that I don’t have any problems with him.
“I don’t have any problem with anybody. If he invites me, I will come and play. I don’t want Nigerians to think I am having any issue with him or angry because he did not invite me. There is nothing like that.”
Speaking on the draw, Taiwo, said that it was a good result and he expects Nigeria to progress to the African Cup of Nations.
“It is not easy for the players to travel all the way to Liberia from Nigeria to get a point. I congratulate all the players that featured in that game – both the foreign-based professionals and the home-based guys.
“It’s not easy at all. What we have to do now is to prepare very well for the game that is coming up on our home ground and if we win 1-0 or 2-0, we will qualify for the next Nations Cup.”

Clubs interested in buying Cristiano Ronaldo would have to pay €200 million

Real Madrid would be willing to sell Cristiano Ronaldo for a €200 million fee if they cannot resolve his current situation at the club, Goal.com can confirm.
The Portuguese superstar refused to celebrate his two goals during the 3-0 win over Granada on September 2, and claimed in the wake of the match that he was unhappy.
The former Manchester United man is one of 17 players returning to training on Wednesday after international duty and there has been a wave of speculation regarding his future at the club.
However, Los Blancos are determined to tackle the crisis and will hold talks between the player, coach Jose Mourinho and president Florentino Perez.
Although Ronaldo himself was quick to deny that a desire for a pay rise was the reason for his current state of melancholy, rumours have persisted that the Portuguese is eyeing an improved contract.
The Real Madrid No.7 earns nearly €10m annually on his current contract, a significantly lower sum than players such as Samuel Eto’o (€20m) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (€14.5m).
Spain’s tax laws have undergone a recent change, and Madrid would now have to pay a 52 per cent tax on the player’s wages compared to the current 24%. This means that if they offer Ronaldo a contract in the region of €15m annually, they will be forced to pay over €23m each year after tax.
Perez has voiced his confidence that the winger will not leave the Bernabeu, but ABC news reports that two mystery clubs, believed to be Paris Saint-Germain and Anzhi Makhachkala, would be prepared to offer him a €20m annual salary.
The capital club paid an unprecedented €100m fee for his services in 2009, and he could be set for another world-record transfer if the talks prove to be fruitless.

Uber slim, bigger screen, smaller lens, 4G-enabled… Apple iPhone 5 unveiled!

Apple has unveiled a taller, 4G-enabled iPhone at an event in San Francisco.
The device’s new size allows it to display an extra row of app icons on its home screen.
The firm said it was 18% thinner and 20% lighter than the iPhone 4S. The screen measures 4in (10.2cm) which is still smaller than rival devices from Samsung, Nokia, Motorola and HTC.
It said it would be available on 4G via Everything Everywhere (EE) in the UK.
The news is likely to give the network operator – which runs the local Orange and T-Mobile services – an advantage against its rivals which will not launch the higher-speed data service until 2013.
“I think it’s obviously what the other networks feared would happen,” said Matthew Howett, a telecoms analyst at Ovum.
