Disclosing this to Journalists today in Lagos, Mr Mitchell Ofoyeju, NDLEA Head of Public Affairs,said that the figure represented the overall arrest made at all the seaports.
He affirmed that a lot of improvement has been recorded considering that the figure was higher last year where over 22 people were arrested.
He also disclosed that NDLEA had seized about 113.50 kg of heroin and 17.26 kg of cannabis at the ports in the first quarters of 2012.
According to him, there is a huge difference in the seizures as over 280.61 kg of cocaine was seized as at last year..
Ofoyeju commended the agency for working ahead of time towards curbing crimes at the ports.
