Her new movie is called Sparkle and just like the namesake Jordin Sparks shined at the premiere of the film this evening.
The
former American Idol winner stepped onto the red-carpet at Grauman's
Chinese Theatre in Hollywood looking heavenly in a white strapless gown.
The 22-year-old's corseted couture was adorned with
crystals, heavily from the bodice all the way down to the flowing skirt,
giving a dazzling effect.
The actress and singer truly was the
belle of the ball on the night, outshining her fellow co-stars, most who
had opted for low-cut daring attire.
Jordin
let her dress do all of the talking by paring down her accessories,
simply opting for a miniature clutch, diamond stud earrings and some
bracelets on her wrist.

The star's fitted ensemble also highlighted the American Idol season six winner's stunning weightloss.
Jordin has shed a staggering 50lbs since her rise to fame on American Idol in 2007.
And recently she admitted that the process wasn't easy.
In an interview with Rebdbook magazine, the singer said there is no magic way to losing the pounds.
'My whole journey has been about self-acceptance,' she said.
'There’s
no quick or magical way to lose weight. You just have to do it the
natural way— diet and exercise and stick to it— and be able to do it at
your own pace. Everyone has their own thing.'
Jordin also recently showed off her new slimline figure on the cover of Shape magazine.
The singer displayed her toned figure in an electric blue bikini as she became this month's cover girl.
And she again spoke out about overcoming her weight battle inside the issue.
She said: 'I knew I had a long road
ahead of me. I was barely working out, and my diet was a mess. I had to
address when, what, and how much I was eating.'
|
Family affair: Jordin was also supported by her mother Jodi Sparks and father Phillippi Sparks
|
Jordin
revealed that she decided to change her eating and exercise pattern
when she realised she should be making the most of herself now that
she's at her prime in her twenties.
|
Kisses: Both her parents proudly planted kisses on each of Jordin's cheek, how cute. |
She added; 'I just wanted to be
healthy. I remember thinking, ‘I’m in my prime. I should be happy and
fit.’ That was the moment I decided that changes needed to be made.'
Other
attendees at tonight's premiere included Jordin's co-star and on-screen
sister Carmen Ejogo, who opted for a daring low-cut black beaded gown
featuring lace diagonal panelling.
