Nicki Minaj derailed the "American Idol" auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina today, after swearing at Mariah Carey and threatening, "I'm gonna knock you out" ... sources tell TMZ.
You've heard rumours that Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey are not best of friends on the set of American Idol, right? Well, the rumours are true. The AI set had to be shut down in North Carolina on Tuesday after Nicki Minaj blew up on Mariah Carey and it was all caught on tape...

According to Mouth to Ears this is what happened,
Nicki Minaj walked off set because Mariah Carey kept making jabs at her. Nicki’s manager and team convinced her to come back to the show. Mariah kept at it and called Nicki a bitch and then proceeded to cuss her out. Producers had to stop filming and call it a night.

Is Kanye West and Kim K’s Relationship Coming To An End?...JUST HOPE IT IS'NT ...

Friends are wondering if things are cooling off between Kim Kardashian and her new beau, Kanye West, who appeared in her life just in time to take the attention away from her disastrous marriage and divorce with Kris Humphries.
While Kim is in Miami to film her family reality show, Kanye has been living it up at Paris fashion week, even though he isn’t showing his clothing line there. On Sunday he was at a party hosted by Diane von Furstenberg and Olivier Zahm to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Purple magazine.
Another source tells us that things between Kanye and Kim are “cooling off” because “he’s getting tired of the constant press and promotion. He’s not as tight with her as he was.”

President Goodluck Jonathan’s Alleged “Lie” in his Independence Day Speech was based on a Newspaper Report

President Goodluck Jonathan in his 52nd Independence Day broadcast on October 1st, 2012 told Nigerians that the global corruption watch body, Transparency International, rated Nigeria second after United States in anti-corruption efforts.
He was quoted as saying “In its latest report, Transparency International noted that Nigeria is the second most improved country in the effort to curb corruption. We will sustain the effort in this direction with an even stronger determination to strengthen the institutions that are statutorily entrusted with the task of ending this scourge.”
His statement has however raised up some controversy as findings have revealed that Transparency International never gave Nigeria such a rating. When Premium Times contacted Transparency International seeking a copy of its latest report which the President referred to in his speech, the group replied in an email saying it had no such report.
“Transparency International does not have a recent rating or report that places Nigeria as the second most improved country in the fight against corruption.”
The group said its most recent indexing of Nigeria’s corruption activities was in the 2011 Corruption Perceptions Index, which measured perceived level of public sector corruption in the country. In that index, Nigeria scored 2.4 on a scale where 0 means highly corrupt and 10 means very clean. It was ranked 143 out of 183 countries.

Mubi Massacre: Soldiers search house-to-house for suspects

Soldiers moved house to house on Wednesday in an urgent bid to hunt down attackers responsible for the massacre of 26 people who were shot or had their throats slit in a student housing area. The attack in the early hours of Tuesday near a polytechnic university shook the town of Mubi, located in Nigeria’s volatile northeast.
“The military is going house to house searching,” said Abubakar Ahmed, head of the Red Cross in Adamawa state, where Mubi is located.
Motives for the gruesome attack remained unclear. In Mubi last week, the military carried out a high-profile raid against Islamist extremist group Boko Haram, which has been waging a deadly insurgency.
But some officials suggested the massacre may have been linked to a recent student election.
According to a police spokesman, the attackers knew their victims and called them out by name in a student housing area off-campus of Federal Polytechnic Mubi. Victims were shot or had their throats slit, he said.
The town had already been under a 3:00 pm to 6:00 am curfew in the wake of last week’s raid, and it remained in place on Wednesday.
The suggestion that the killings were linked to the student election raised questions over how and why the dispute would have turned so violent.
There were suggestions of ethnic tensions between the mainly Muslim Hausas and predominately Christian Igbos involved in the vote.
At the same time, Boko Haram has continually widened its targets and its attacks have become increasingly sophisticated.
