Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu to be flown to India for kidney transplant - i wish her a successful surgery and quick recovery

There’s big fear in the motion picture industry, globally known as Nollywood  over the  health of one of its leading actresses, Ngozi Nwosu as report says  she needs to be flown out of the country urgently for a kidney transplant in the shores of India.
Dailypost learnt that already, some of her colleagues such as Amaka Igwe, Biodun Aleja and Emma Oguguah, are raising funds and preparing to fly her out of Nigeria for the surgery.
According Biodun Aleja, Nwosu is currently bedridden and  they are making efforts to make sure she returns to the klieg lights.
He said: “We gave her some money yesterday to support the tests she is undergoing, and we will very likely take her to India very soon; that is why we are trying to raise funds for her. By the time she is done with the tests, we will be sure of the exact ailment, but I think it is kidney leakage or so,” he said.
A save-our-soul message circulating among Ngozi’s colleagues reads; “Please let’s not turn this to plenty talk, if you can help financially, please help by paying what you can to GTB account number0052851673 Ngozi. M. Nwosu. Thanks.”

David-West blasts Jonathan: “How can you give National Award and say you will withdraw it?”

Former petroleum minister and elder statesman, prof Tam David-West has lambasted president Goodluck Jonathan over his threat to withdraw national honours from those with questionable characters. He described Jonathan’s comment as a sign of poor and irresponsible leadership.
David-West lamented that Nigeria is a great country, but  has useless leaders who lack insight to lead. He noted that government’s inability to cater for its older people discourages workers.
The ex minister said this yesterday in Lagos at the book presentation of Retirement Entrepreneurship, written by Prof. Deji Femi-Pearse in Lagos.
He said: “I keep telling them that democracy is a contract. My country must do something for me, so I can do mine. Only a living person can be democratic. If I am dead, can I be democratic? If you live, you have to thank God everyday.
“But the Nigerian system kills you everyday. If you are alive and if you are old, the system deserts you. It can be very difficult.”
Femi-Pearse, a former acting Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos observed that government does not even care to secure the people, its first responsibility, because of selfishness.
David-West said: “Government is too selfish to carry out its primary duty of securing Nigerians. Does Nigerian government obey any law? The constitution says security of the citizen is the first duty. I am just sorry for young men and women of Nigeria today.
“Nigeria is a great country, but we have useless leaders. How can you give national award and say ‘I will withdraw it from those who are not worthy of it’. If they are not worthy of it, why did you honour them in the first place?”
Adding his own voice, the author, Prof. Deji Femi-Pearse
said: “The government is corrupt. The government does not respect its people. A government that respects its people will not tolerate corruption; will not tolerate inhumanity to pensioners.
